If you have a Honda with a fuel pump relay, you probably know that the relay only energizes the fuel pump when the motor cranks. This can leave you stranded if the relay goes bad or you run out of fuel. Cranking the engine to fill empty carbs can drain your battery dead before the carbs fill. The options are to bridge the relay with a jumper or 2012 Honda Shadow 750, what happened? I was on my way home in 4th gear doing about 45 when all the electrical flashed. Lights, dash lights, odometer, everything. Then they came back up for a split second, and then quit altogether. There is no electrical response from the bike. Ignition on, no lights. I have changed the computer (I have a second working bike to share parts) and that isn't the issue. When this discussion was on the forum many weeks ago the overwhelming majority recommended an AGM type battery. Its either the relay, dead or jammed starter, weak battery (12.8 volt does not always mean fully charged and chargers fail), loose bad connections or dirty even run switch.
